How to Enable Cross-Site Tracking in GoHighLevel Across Browsers

Updated March 24, 2025

Blocked third-party cookies and cross-site tracking restrictions can break key GoHighLevel features, causing tracking gaps and unexpected behaviour in your agency workflows. This guide walks you through enabling cross-site tracking in Safari on MacOS, with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge instructions coming soon.

Safari on MacOS

  1. Launch Safari
Launch Safari by clicking its icon in the dock or by using Spotlight search (Cmd + Space), typing “Safari,” and selecting the app from the results.
  2. Access Safari Preferences
In the top menu, select “Safari,” then choose either “Preferences” or “Settings” from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can quickly open the Preferences window using the keyboard shortcut (Cmd + comma).
  3. Open the Privacy Tab
Once the Preferences window appears, click on the “Privacy” tab at the top.

  4. Customize Website Tracking Options
In the Privacy tab, you’ll see various options related to website tracking. By default, Safari blocks cross-site tracking. To enable it, uncheck the box next to “Prevent cross-site tracking.”
  1. Close Preferences
After adjusting the desired settings, close the Preferences window.
