You can use the URL Redirects feature in your settings to create 301 Permanent Redirects for your domains. This can serve multiple purposes, such as preventing duplicate content, consolidating blogs on similar subjects, or redirecting dynamic URLs to a shorter, more SEO-friendly version when moving to a new domain.
Here are the steps you need to follow to understand how to generate and implement URL Redirects in your system:
Step 1: Create a URL Redirect
- Navigate to Settings > URL Redirects.
- Click Add a Redirect.
- To customize your redirect, open the popup window and make the necessary modifications. Once done, click on the “Add Redirect” button to save your changes.
Step 2: Manage your URL Redirects
- On the URL Redirects page you can view a lists of all your redirects.
- Click the trashcan icon to remove any you wish to delete.
