How to Mark GoHighLevel Conversations as Read Manually or Automatically

Unread conversations pile up fast in GoHighLevel, making it difficult to track which contacts genuinely need attention. This guide covers four ways to mark conversations as read — from manual clicks and replies to workflow automation and settings — so your inbox stays accurate and actionable.

Marking conversations as Read: 

  1. In the conversation tab click Mark as Read.

  1. Replying to the conversation Manually. You can either use SMS or Email.

  1. Utilize Workflow Action to Edit a Conversation.

  1. Enable Automatic Marking as Read in the Workflow Settings.
