Unverified sender addresses are one of the leading causes of poor email deliverability and brand spoofing in campaign tools. This guide walks you through GoHighLevel's email verification process — from entering your sender address to confirming your OTP — so your campaigns launch with full inbox authority.
We’ve implemented a new security measure to improve deliverability and protect your brand reputation. You’ll now need to verify your “From” email address before launching a campaign. This helps ensure your emails reach the inbox and prevents others from using your address without permission.
In certain cases, email verification is not required:
- Custom domains provided under LC email.
- Location admin email present in settings.
How to Verify Your Email
- Navigate to the email marketing section and create a campaign.
- Enter the email address you wish to verify in the sender email field.
- Click on the “Verify Now” option.
- Check your email for an OTP (One-Time Password) and enter the 6-digit OTP.
- Once the OTP is entered, your email address is verified and can be used for future campaigns.
- Additionally, this can also be done through the settings page, by clicking on “Verify an email”
