Optimizing Appointment Scheduling: Harnessing One-Time Links with GoHighLevel

What is a One Time Link?

A Single-Use Link is a specialized scheduling tool tailored to your calendar, engineered to deactivate automatically once an appointment is confirmed. Diverging from both the permanent and regular scheduling links, this unique feature grants access to your calendar for a single instance only.

Why are One Time Links important?

  • One-time links hold significant value for various industries, especially catering to individuals who are cautious about divulging their complete calendar.
  • These links have built-in expiration, ensuring your control over availability and deterring unwanted reservations.
  • Upon utilization, the link becomes inactive, necessitating issuance of a fresh link for subsequent bookings.
  • Moreover, this feature safeguards against attendees disclosing your availability to unfamiliar parties.

How to Share a One Time Link?

To share a one time link to your calendar:

  • Navigate to Calendar Settings > Calendars.
  • Click on the three dots next to your calendar and select “Share.”

Note: You can now access the Scheduling Link, Permanent Link, One Time Link and Embed Code from the “Share” option in Calendar Settings

• In the sharing options, locate the “One Time Link” tab.
  • Click on “Copy” to easily copy & paste the One Time Link wherever needed.
  • To create a new link, click on the “Generate New Link” option to obtain a fresh URL.

What Happens After Booking

Once a booking has been confirmed and the link has lapsed, any subsequent attempts to schedule an appointment through the expired link will prompt users to reach out to the owner. This precaution guarantees that only active and up-to-date links are utilized for scheduling appointments.
