Email Verification feature in Forms and Surveys on GoHighLevel

We’re excited to unveil our new Email Verification feature for the Forms and Surveys module! This upgrade enables participants to confirm their email addresses right within the form or survey, ensuring data accuracy and offering a smoother user experience.

Email Verification Button

A “Verify Email” button now appears beside the email input field in forms and surveys. This button becomes visible only after a valid email address has been provided. Clicking it sends a verification code to the specified email, starting the verification procedure.

Verification Code

When users click the “Verify Email” button, they will receive a distinct verification code sent to their email. To confirm their email address, they must enter this code into the provided form or survey. This process guarantees that the email address is valid and under the user’s control, thereby improving the accuracy of the data collected.

How it works

Email Entry: Users will enter their email address in the designated field of a form or survey.

Verification Prompt: Upon entering a valid email, the “Verify Email” button will become visible next to the email input field.

Send Verification Code: Clicking this button sends a unique verification code to the user’s email address.

Enter Verification Code: Users must enter this code back into the form or survey to verify their email address.

Verification Confirmation: Once the code is entered correctly, the email address is verified and marked accordingly in the submission data.
